The special powers of Assisi

The lush green hills of Umbria form the backdrop for the pilgrimage town of Assisi, situated on a hill. It is a very special place of Christian mysticism. A place where two people followed their path to God with devotion and radicalism.

It is the city of Francis and Clare of Assisi. We want to follow in their footsteps, absorb their energy, allow ourselves to be taught and experience how it can inform our lives. For Clare and Francis, it was clear that their spiritual path was a path in community, in sisterhood and brotherhood.

We too want to spend this inner and outer journey in community, experiencing together, sharing what we have learned, accompanying and inspiring each other. The inner and outer beauty of the buildings and places supports us in this, the unique hilly landscape nourishes our souls and gives us confidence in the depths of our hearts.

The city provides us with both a masculine and feminine vibration, which in its commonality reminds us of deeply creative forces. This retreat week offers us the opportunity to strengthen our connection to our source. Day by day, the sacred can establish itself more deeply in our bodies and our beings, so that our focus in life on what is essential becomes clearer and other possibilities for our essential issues become apparent.

What awaits you on the Assisi Journey 2025

The retreat begins on MI 30.04 with a joint check-in at 6 pm and ends on DI 06.05 at 8 pm with a final round.

We will have daily meditations together, especially at the special places in Assisi and the surrounding area in nature. In addition, there will be regular opportunities to exchange ideas and to relax in the Italian sun. We will be out and about a lot. Our days will usually start early so that we can practise undisturbed at the holy places.

Practical information about the trip to Assisi 2025

Duration:

MI 30.04.25 - 18.00 h to DI 06.05.25 - 20.00 h

Please do not plan to leave before 20.00 on Tuesday!

Costs:

480€ early bird until 30.01.25 / thereafter 540€ - (cancellation conditions see below)

Accommodation and meals:

Each participant organizes his/her own accommodation and meals. There are hotels, guesthouses, guesthouses and monastery rooms in Assisi as well as offers via airbnb, so that there is suitable accommodation for every budget. We highly recommend staying in the old town, as we will be spending a lot of time there.

Arrival:

Arrival and departure are self-organized. Flights are available to Rome or Florence. There are good train connections from there to Assisi. I would of course be delighted if you tried to travel by train or carpool. The whole journey can also be done by train.
